New formats for social media

In order to communicate with our community through new formats that attract more people to the challenge of improving the quality of public debate and fighting misinformation, we are continuously testing out alternative ways of delivering our content.

New Chequeado Podcast

In order to reach new audiences and tailor the conversation spaces to the current demand, we evolved towards a weekly "El podcast de Chequeado". We share the main checks, contexts and misinforming contents of current affairs with a greater narrative insight.

Trending panel

To closely follow the most used words in headlines and media, the most tweeted topics and the most repeated searches over the last hour or 7 days, we developed and made accessible to the community a dashboard to follow what is being talked about in the public agenda, all in the same place.

Rent calculator

In order to facilitate the adjustment of rental prices, we have developed a calculator accessible to the entire community that updates the values according to the current laws in force.

Weekly data alert

In order to know when any of the more than one thousand official databases hosted by the Government in datos.gob.ar is created, deleted or updated, and to avoid having to check them one by one, we designed an alert system to which the community has access by e-mail subscription.

Toolbox for journalists

To simplify access to useful digital tools for journalists and communication professionals, we created a web space that collects and organizes resources and applications in areas such as audio, video, multimedia content editing, social media management, data visualization, fact checking, among others.

Prebunking

To identify what kind of misinformation is circulating, we analyze trends, and generate content and resources available to the community that alert them about this false content.

Impact automation

To measure part of the impact of what we do and take that information to learn and further enhance our efforts against misinformation, we created a tool that allows us to automate the loading of the impacts resulting from Google alerts on mentions and/or publications related to our projects.

#ChequeoEnVivo - Live fact-checking

In order to contribute to improve the quality of public debate during the election period, we produced a collective live coverage of the 3 presidential debates during which we verified the candidates' phrases, the most repeated words and the amount of checkable data provided by each one of them. Campaign against electoral disinformation

In order to raise awareness in the community about the risk of electoral disinformation, we carried out -within the framework of Reverso- the "Campaign against disinformation" together with the agency BBDO. The action was based on a web app from which, by scanning the faces of some of the candidates, visitors could see the candidates -through artificial intelligence- denying disinformation that affected them and their opponents, and inviting them to follow Reverso.
