In 2015 we published more than ever
In 2015 we did six events to check, in real time and collectively, the statements by the presidents and candidates.
“Recipient of the Gabriel García Máquez International Journalism Award in the Innovation category”
“Stephan Schmidheiny 2015 Award, second place in the Institutional Innovation category”
From 9 countries participated in workshops or talks and were trained in Data Journalism and Fact-Checking
The citizens (not journalist or communicators) that participated in Chequeado´s lectures and educational activities
Were carried out in 2015 working together with other organizations, universities and community members.
We organized the first educational hackaton to design activities with data in the classroom working together with PENT-Flacso and Wikimedia Argentina.
We developed a new space for our community to participate suggesting statement to verify. The app became an important source for generating new fact-checks.
